โจWorking with Us
๐ฉ Help Us Create Somewhere Extraordinary
Cedar Hollow is not an ordinary hospitality business. We create imaginative woodland stays, memorable guest experiences and magical places filled with stories, craftsmanship and unexpected details.
That takes a wonderfully varied team. ๐ฒ
We are interested in hearing from:
-
๐งน Housekeepers and cleaners
-
๐ณ Cooks and hospitality staff
-
๐ฟ Gardeners and practical outdoor workers
-
๐จ Artists, designers and makers
-
๐จ Carpenters, scenic builders and craftspeople
-
๐ฉ Magicians and performers
-
๐ธ Photographers, videographers and content creators
You do not need to fit neatly into one of these categories. Some of our most interesting projects begin when somebody approaches us with a skill or idea we had not previously considered. ๐ก
While we do not currently have any full-time vacancies, we are always happy to hear from people interested in:
-
๐ผ Future full-time opportunities
-
๐ฐ๏ธ Part-time employment
-
๐ Flexible or seasonal work
-
๐๏ธ Occasional hospitality or housekeeping shifts
-
๐ Hospitality apprenticeships
-
๐จ Freelance creative projects
-
๐ ๏ธ Contract-based work
Some opportunities are regular, while others relate to a particular project, event or new guest experience.

๐๏ธ Five Ways to Join Us
๐ผ Route 1: Future Full-Time Opportunities
We do not currently have any full-time vacancies.
โ
However, if you are a practical and creative all-rounder, or a talented housekeeper with an eye for magical detail, please introduce yourself. We are always willing to hear from exceptional people who might complement our small creative team.
โ
Although we may not be able to offer you a position immediately, we may contact you when an appropriate opportunity becomes available.
โ
๐๏ธ Route 2: Keeper of the Keys
๐ Hospitality Apprentice
โ
We are in the process of establishing a formal, paid and government-sponsored hospitality apprenticeship programme.
โ
The programme will combine practical employment at Cedar Hollow with recognised professional training delivered through an approved apprenticeship training provider.
A Keeper of the Keys may learn about:
-
๐๏ธ Housekeeping and preparing guest accommodation
-
๐๏ธ Welcoming and assisting guests
-
๐ฝ๏ธ Food preparation and service
-
๐ป Bookings and guest communication
-
๐ญ Supporting events and experiences
-
๐ฒ Helping with the day-to-day operation of our imaginative woodland accommodation
-
โจ Adding thoughtful and magical details to each guest’s stay
The apprenticeship training is expected to last at least 12 months, followed by a formal assessment. This will be a genuine paid employment position, not a volunteer placement.
Prospective applicants are welcome to register their interest.
โ
โ
๐ฐ๏ธ Route 3: Part-Time and Seasonal Work

โ
โค๏ธ Route 5: Volunteer With the Congenital Anaemia Network
The heart of Cedar Hollow has always been about care, not only for our guests, but also for people in need of rest, refuge and connection.
That same spirit led us to establish the Congenital Anaemia Network, a UK-registered charity supporting individuals and families affected by rare inherited blood disorders.
The charity provides:
-
๐ค Patient advocacy
-
โค๏ธ Emotional and practical support
-
๐ Community events
-
๐ฌ Funding for medical research
-
๐ฒ Opportunities for patients and families to enjoy restorative woodland retreats
Cedar Hollow provides regular complimentary woodland retreats for patients and their families. The Congenital Anaemia Network welcomes genuine volunteers who would like to contribute to its charitable work.
๐ฌ๐ง Already Entitled to Work in the UK?
We welcome applications from people of all backgrounds who already have permission to undertake the relevant work in the UK.
โ
This may include people living in the UK under the:
-
๐ Youth Mobility Scheme
-
๐ Student visa route
โ
The type of work someone can undertake, and the number of hours permitted, will depend upon the conditions of their individual immigration status.
โ
Cedar Hollow does not currently sponsor work or Youth Mobility visas. We carry out the required right-to-work checks before any paid work begins.
โ
Eligibility for a funded apprenticeship will be assessed separately with our approved training provider.
